RECREATE THE ARTS NONPROFIT CORPORATION  is committed to self determination and incorporates the ‘ Family Systems Theory( adapted from Dr. Murray Bowen) into its framework. It is the idea that we “do not exist in a vacuum’ and individuals cannot be understood in isolation from one another but rather as a part of a system of ‘interconnected and interdependent individuals, none of whom can be understood in isolation’. Because we are all influenced by the world around us ,RTA  programs are formulated to encourage;

-Self Awareness and overall well being.

-Understanding self in contexts of one's nuclear and extended families, identifying sources of support.

-Openmindedly exploring the world outside our families.

-Taking an active role in sustaining our planet.
